Occupational Health Physician (MD/DO) - Texas Federal Program Support

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Health Physician to provide comprehensive occupational medicine services in support of a federal mission. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and agency-specific health and safety regulations within a highly regulated environment.

This is an onsite opportunity requiring the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) Q Clearance.

Position Overview

The Occupational Health Physician will deliver medical oversight, clinical evaluations, and occupational health services to support employee health, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational medical examinations
• Perform medical surveillance and fitness-for-duty evaluations
• Evaluate and manage work-related injuries and illnesses
• Support regulatory compliance initiatives and occupational health standards
• Provide medical consultation and program oversight
• Coordinate emergency medical response activities, as applicable

All services will be performed in accordance with applicable federal regulations, Texas state law, and strict confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Active and unrestricted Texas medical license prior to employment start date
• Experience in occupational medicine, employee health, or regulated healthcare environments preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
