POSITION TITLE: Instructor - EMT


LOCATION: Carthage Campus


EMPLOYMENT TERM: Full-time, 9-month position


BEGINNING DATE: January 1, 2026


RESPONSIBILITIES: EMT Instructor position is responsible to the Chair of Emergency Medical Sciences. Individual must be a certified EMS Instructor and hold a current DSHS Instructor card. The instructor will be responsible for course planning, teaching curriculum, tutoring and NREMT preparation, and/or remediation of EMT students. The instructor will also be expected to assist with the Paramedic course as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS: Texas certification as an EMS instructor is required. Minimum of three years' experience in pre-hospital emergency care required. Paramedic Instructor certification preferred.


COMPENSATION: The salary offered will be commensurate with educational background and work experience.
