Clinical Practice

Providers deliver comprehensive emergency care for patients across a broad spectrum of medical conditions.

Clinical responsibilities include:

• Adult and pediatric emergency medicine
• Medical emergencies
• Trauma stabilization
• Procedural emergency care
• Emergency resuscitation
• Coordination of transfers when higher levels of care are required
• Collaborative practice with experienced emergency nursing staff

Patient volume averages approximately 10 encounters per day, allowing physicians to provide thoughtful, patient-centered emergency care while maintaining excellent workflow.

Practice Environment

This physician-led emergency department is located within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving communities throughout Northwest Oklahoma. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services along with inpatient care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, rehabilitation, surgery, and specialty clinic support, ensuring physicians have access to key resources while practicing in a close-knit clinical environment.

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma Medical License
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Current ACLS
• ATLS
• PALS
• BLS
• Previous Emergency Department experience required
• Strong procedural and independent practice skills
