We're looking for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic surgical team. This is a hands-on, sleeves-up role that covers inpatient surgical care - from first consults to last rounds (and everything in between).

What You'll Do:

• Be the Sherlock Holmes of patient care: gather histories, do physicals, make diagnoses, and crack complex cases.
• Handle admissions, rounds, discharges, and everything that keeps the surgical world spinning.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics like a pro.
• Perform bedside procedures and wound care - your hands are as skilled as your brain!
• Manage medications and give patients/families the info they need (minus the medical jargon).
• Keep detailed documentation and collaborate with surgeons, nurses, techs, and the rest of the dream team.
• Mentor newer providers and participate in quality improvement initiatives - help us get better every day.

Must-Haves:

• Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related setting.
• Current NM license (APRN or PA with NCCPA certification).
• CPR/BLS (within 30 days of start).
• DEA license & NM prescriptive authority.
• ACLS or PALS (within 30 days, if required by the role).

Bonus Points For:

• 3+ years of surgical experience - you're practically a scalpel whisperer.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or Native languages) - speak the language of care.
• Pediatric Nursing Certification - if applicable, it's a nice extra badge.

What to Expect:

• Medium lifting (20-50 lbs) - think "gym workout meets rounds."
• Possible exposure to biohazards (don't worry, we provide PPE).
• You'll need to maintain credentials and give 60-day notice if you ever decide to part ways (but we hope you won't!).
