Machine Operator – Manufacturing / Fabrication
Location: Roseville, CA
Pay: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM–4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Alternative Work Schedule
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Machine Operator for a local manufacturing company in Roseville. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have some experience with production machinery, welding, fabrication, or general shop work.
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor production and shop machinery
- Operate equipment such as CNC lathes and general production machines
- Load raw steel and other materials into machinery
- Monitor machines during production to ensure proper operation
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Use basic measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and other hand tools
- Perform basic welding and fabrication work as needed
- Read and follow basic work instructions and production specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all shop safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with general production and shop duties as needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0–2 years of manufacturing, production, machine operation, welding, fabrication, or shop experience
- Ability to read and follow basic work instructions
- Comfortable using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Some welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to perform physical shop duties and work around machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the early morning schedule
