Volt is immediately hiring for a Finishing Technician in Fremont, CA.

As a Finishing Technician, you will:

• Perform hands-on cleaning and finishing of metal and ceramic components used in solar and electronic applications.
• Operate tools and equipment such as sanding, grinding, milling, sawing, and sandblasting machines.
• Polish and refine parts to meet precise customer specifications.
• Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Package finished products in vacuum-sealed bags and prepare them for shipment.
• Wear and adhere to required PPE including respirators, masks, and safety shoes.

This is a full time, contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in production, manufacturing, or hands-on mechanical work.
• Familiarity with tools such as sanders, grinders, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn machining processes for ceramic and metal parts.

• Prior experience working with ceramic or metal components.
• Exposure to machining or finishing processes in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
