General Dentist - Permanent Opportunity - Crescent City, CA Join a community-focused Rural Health Center in beautiful Crescent City, CA! We're seeking an experienced General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in a traditional, established dental clinic. This is a great opportunity for a dentist who enjoys a broad mix of general dentistry, values patient relationships, and is comfortable working independently while being supported by an experienced dental team. THE OPPORTUNITY Rural Health Center serving the local community Established 2-chair dental clinic 22+ billable patient encounters per day , including hygiene, treating patients ages 3+ Schedule allows for up to 25 patients per day 2.5 dental assistants (1 FTD, 1 FT DA, 1 PT DA) Dental Director onsite for additional support Traditional office setting with an emphasis on quality, patient-focused care CLINICAL SCOPE This is a bread-and-butter general dentistry opportunity with a mix of preventive and comprehensive care. The dentist will perform procedures such as: Fillings, crowns, bridges, simple extractions, denture work Hygiene (no DH o staff) No root canals, surgical extractions, or other complex procedures are required SCHEDULE The practice operates on a rotating schedule designed to provide extended coverage while allowing for 7 days off between rotations . SCHEDULE A: SUN-TUE - 8A-8P SCHEDULE B: WED-FRI - W & TH: 8A-8P & F: 8A-2P Rotating schedule allows 7 days off between rotations COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $250,000 base salary +$25 per billable patient encounter 100% employer-paid health insurance, plus dental, vision, chiropractic, life insurance, and 401(k) with match Generous PTO and Holiday time off Relocation assistance for qualifying expenses with receipts WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR The ideal dentist will: Have a minimum of 2 years of prior clinical experience Be able to perform their own hygiene Have strong interpersonal and communication skills Be pleasant, professional, and patient-focused Be comfortable working within Medi-Cal guidelines Successfully complete a background check Visa sponsorship candidates and recent dental school graduates are not being considered at this time.
