Technical Services Specialist – Associate

Location: Juno Beach, FL

Duration: 6–12 months, with potential extension or FTE conversion

Responsibilities

• Assist senior real-time desk operators in overseeing power generation assets.


• Complete recurring shift tasks and follow established operating procedures.


• Support daily operations and develop an understanding of power generation economics and dispatch characteristics.


• Understand applicable ISO/RTO protocols, market portals, and transmission reservation/tagging systems.


• Communicate operational information clearly and maintain accurate records.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.


• Completed or substantially completed bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed procedures.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with the MS Office Suite.


• Availability to work a 12-hour rotating DuPont schedule.

Preferred/Nice-to-Have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.


• Generator operator or control center experience.


• One or more years of relevant experience.


• Familiarity with electricity markets, power generation dispatch, or utility operations.

Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts (DuPont schedule)
