General Manager – Food Manufacturing

Salary $200,000 - $250,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Paid Relocation Package to the NE US

Are you an entrepreneurial leader with strong cross-functional experience? Our client is seeking someone to oversee and be accountable for every aspect of the business – financial, engineering, maintenance, quality, safety, production, and warehousing.

In this General Manager leadership role, you’ll be equally accountable for the plant’s financial performance and technical operations. Responsibilities include full P&L ownership, pricing strategy, Lean/continuous improvement initiatives, and leadership of the plant’s overall strategy and culture.

Strong technical and engineering expertise is essential to provide effective direction for the maintenance and engineering functions.

Minimum qualifications for this General Manager role:

• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in food or beverage manufacturing, including responsibility for cross-functional plant operations.


• Proven financial leadership, including P&L ownership, budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategy.


• Strong technical and engineering knowledge, with the ability to guide maintenance, reliability, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Demonstrated experience leading in a union environment.
