We’re partnering with our client, a prominent organization in the consumer communications field, to find a talented Marketing Communications & PR professional. This contract, hybrid role is based in Brooklyn, NY and focused on supporting public relations activities through storytelling and media outreach.

Marketing Communications & PR Responsibilities:

• Develop and send engaging media pitches, follow up with journalists, and coordinate press requests.


• Collaborate with the US PR agency to identify media opportunities and manage associated deadlines.


• Oversee logistics for media engagements, including shipments, interview arrangements, and briefing preparations.


• Monitor cultural and shopping trends to identify timely stories relevant to company.


• Assist with press event organization, campaign support materials, and tracking campaign progress.

Marketing Communications & PR Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in consumer PR or communications.


• Deep understanding of the lifestyle and consumer media landscapes, including new media outlets.


• Excellent written communication skills for pitches and press content.


• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.


• Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
