Sales Trainee

Purpose: Sales Trainees learn the basics of Electrical Supply before moving to the front Counter and later progressing into an Inside/Outside Salesperson to prospect and build relationships with existing and potential customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will learn our business by progressing from the Warehouse to the Counter to a Sales position


• Build relationships with customers through daily interactions


• Complete daily tasks of assigned department


• Coordinate, process and disseminate information from other inter departments


• Keeping up with product knowledge through training


• Perform other job-related duties as assigned


• Attend monthly mentorship meetings

Skills:

• Able to work and learn in a fast-paced, self-disciplined environment


• Effectively manage customer orders for our varied product offering


• Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities


• Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking


• Excellent time management, organization, and presentation skills


• Highly proficient in MS Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook.


• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Education and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Microsoft Outlook and Excel experience (Preferred)


• Sales Experience (Preferred)


• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
