Market Intelligence Analyst

KBC Advisors is seeking a Market Intelligence Analyst to support our Nashville, Tennessee team! We offer a dynamic, innovative environment with a company that is reimagining how to drive value in industrial real estate.

This role sits at the center of our brokerage, research, analyst, and technology efforts—leveraging real estate data and on-the-ground intelligence to create and deliver insights that drive smarter decisions and stronger strategies for our team and clients. You'll collaborate across all teams to identify trends and opportunities and build tools to deliver insights that strengthen our platform and deliver optimal results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as thought leader and trusted resource to deliver quality research, data, and insights to support, shape, and drive strategy and decision-making


• Collaborate with the production team to deliver business development research, reports, insights, and target market deliverables


• Lead the build-out, expansion, and ongoing management of the team’s data platforms, databases, and tools to enhance research, analysis, and business development efforts


• Track and analyze industrial market activity along with data, news, and key indicators for the team


• Translate complex data into actionable insights, forward-looking market perspectives, and compelling client-facing reports and presentations.


• Proactively communicate market activity, news, trends, and emerging opportunities to the team and clients


• Collaborate with team relationships, such as brokers, landlords, developers, lenders, appraisers, and other industry professionals to source and develop proprietary market insight and data to inform real estate strategy and thought leadership


• Collaborate with KBC’s data, technology, and Location Intelligence (GIS) teams to develop dashboards, data visualizations, and tools that enhance how market intelligence is captured, analyzed, and presented


• Drive data standardization, management, and delivery processes across team objectives


• Leverage the research role to support and drive marketing initiatives and other core functional projects for the team


• Embrace an “all hands on” team mentality, stepping in where needed and recognizing that our strongest results come from working together and supporting each other’s success

Preferred Qualifications

• Driven go getter with a can-do attitude and proven grit to produce and deliver results


• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies, with an interest in applying new tools to improve research, analysis, and production opportunities for the team


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to uncover trends, interpret data, and translate findings into meaningful insights


• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment


• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis, database management, and modeling; financial modeling experience is a plus


• Knowledge of commercial real estate markets and an interest in understanding the trends and factors that drive real estate decisions


• Collaborative, curious, hands-on, with a willingness to take ownership, execute, and continuously learn

Education and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree (preferably in a related field such as Real Estate, Data Science, or Business) required


• 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Previous commercial real estate experience preferred

Compensation

The expected annual base salary for this position is $65,000-$90,000 +. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and geographic location.

This role may also be eligible for bonuses, or other incentive compensation, as well as a benefits package including health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off, subject to eligibility requirements.
