Farm Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a Farm Technician for a contract opportunity in Dawson, GA. This hands-on agricultural role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and supporting essential field and processing operations throughout the growing season.
As a Farm Technician, you will assist with planting preparation, harvest support, cotton hand harvesting, seed processing, field maintenance, and inventory activities. This is a great opportunity to gain practical agricultural experience in a team-oriented environment with supportive leadership, clear expectations, and meaningful day-to-day work that contributes to successful farming operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planting, harvest preparation, and field activities throughout the growing cycle.
- Collect and record crop or field data as needed to support agricultural operations.
- Assist with hand harvesting cotton, ginning seed cotton, and seed processing tasks.
- Perform seed inventory management and maintain accurate work areas.
- Complete field maintenance duties, including pulling and hoeing weeds.
- Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
