Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role Description The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This position is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, including generating and issuing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, and performing timely debt collection activities. The specialist will reconcile customer accounts, investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in the finance and ERP systems. The role involves regular communication with customers and internal teams to address billing inquiries, support cash flow management, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial standards.

• Candidates should possess Finance-related skills, including basic accounting knowledge, experience with accounts receivable processes, and experience working with financial software or ERP systems.


• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in a clear and professional manner.


• Candidates should possess Debt Collection skills, including experience following up on past-due accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining appropriate documentation.


• Candidates should possess Invoicing skills, such as preparing accurate invoices, verifying billing information, and ensuring timely distribution to customers.


• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial or ERP systems such as Great Plains or Business Central.


• Prior experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role, preferably within a medical device or healthcare environment.


• Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field desired or 2 years of relevant collections experience, preferably working in medical device company or healthcare.
