Seeking a law firm Life Sciences attorney in New York or Boston. Attorneys will work to counsel life science companies, investment firms, and academic research institutions.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will be to Draft, review, and negotiate clinical trial and other R&D agreements for biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients while helping clients identify strategic goals, prioritize key issues, and develop and documented solutions. Candidates will directly with clinical, R&D, and senior management teams at biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, academic institutions, and research hospitals.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of transactional experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department.


• Familiarity with biology and chemistry principles relevant to pharmaceutical design and function.


• Familiarity with the regulatory framework for therapeutic development and commercialization.


• Understanding of intellectual property licensing and biotechnology business development practices.


• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Pay Range

180,000-220,000
