About the Opportunity

Stealth Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading management consulting firm to find an experienced Project Manager for its Health and Human Services practice. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to the State of Louisiana on its newly implemented Child Welfare Information System (CWIS).

This is a client-facing role. The team is already in place, and the program needs a PM who can step in quickly, earn the trust of state leadership, and keep a complex, multi-vendor program moving.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary advisor to state agency and IT leadership on CWIS program delivery

  • Assess and set up technology governance structures, processes and decision-making frameworks

  • Manage a wide range of stakeholders, including statewide IT leadership, agency executives and the large systems integrators on the program

  • Oversee SDLC and Agile delivery from planning through release and stabilization

  • Track program health, risks, issues and dependencies, and report status to executives

  • Help the state make sound decisions about system changes, enhancements and vendor performance

  • Keep program priorities aligned with child welfare policy and casework operations

What You Bring

  • 10-12 years of experience managing technology projects or programs

  • Child welfare technology experience in the last 5 years (CCWIS, SACWIS, CWIS or similar state HHS systems)

  • A technical background and a strong command of the SDLC and Agile delivery

  • Experience setting up or working within IT governance structures

  • A track record of managing senior state stakeholders and coordinating with large SIs

  • Strong organization, communication and executive presence

Nice to Have

  • PMP certification

  • Experience in a consulting or advisory role on state government programs

  • Exposure to federal child welfare requirements (ACF, CCWIS regulations)

Location & Travel

  • On site in Baton Rouge 3-4 days every other week

  • Travel is supported, and non-local candidates are welcome to apply

Why This Role

  • High-visibility advisory seat on a statewide child welfare modernization program

  • Direct impact on systems that support caseworkers, children and families

  • Join an established team with a clear mission and an ASAP start
