Collector Car & Warehouse Operations Specialist

GT Motor Cars is a privately owned luxury and collector automobile dealership specializing in rare Ferraris, exotic automobiles, and investment-grade collector cars.

We're seeking an experienced, mechanically inclined automotive professional to take ownership of our warehouse operations, vehicle maintenance routines, and shop organization.

This is not an entry-level lot attendant or car wash position.

We're looking for someone with outstanding attention to detail, a strong mechanical foundation, exceptional organizational habits, and a genuine passion for automobiles. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, dependable, and takes pride in doing things right the first time.

COLLECTOR CAR CARE & MAINTENANCE

• Oversee the routine care and upkeep of collector, exotic, and specialty automobiles

• Perform scheduled vehicle startups, monthly maintenance checks, and routine inspections following established procedures

• Monitor battery tenders, tire pressures, fluid levels, and general vehicle condition

• Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records and inspection checklists

• Perform careful wipe-downs, dust removal, and detailing to maintain exceptional vehicle presentation

• Perform dry ice blasting and cleaning of vehicle undercarriages, engine compartments, and other appropriate components, following company training and safety procedures

• Properly operate, clean, and maintain dry ice blasting equipment

• Safely move, position, and prepare vehicles for storage, service, and transportation

• Identify mechanical concerns and communicate findings to our technicians

• Assist technicians with vehicle preparation and general shop operations

WAREHOUSE & SHOP OPERATIONS

• Take ownership of the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our automotive warehouse and shop

• Operate our floor-cleaning equipment (Zamboni) and maintain clean, professional work areas

• Organize tools, equipment, automotive supplies, and storage areas

• Maintain inventory of shop supplies and proactively replenish materials before they run out

• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned, maintained, and returned to their designated locations

• Maintain an environment that is consistently ready for client visits and vehicle inspections

• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, organization, and vehicle care procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous hands-on automotive experience in a dealership, professional garage, collector car facility, restoration shop, or similar environment

• Solid understanding of basic automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and mechanical procedures

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and follow established procedures

• Exceptional attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization

• Ability to safely operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Strong communication skills, reliability, and professional work habits

• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with automotive warehouse operations

*Experience with Ferrari, Porsche, or other collector and exotic automobiles is highly desirable.*
