Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Full-Time Remote Opportunity in Redlands, CA

Therapy with Purpose, LLC is seeking a dedicated and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our vibrant team in a full-time remote position. Although most interactions will occur online, we ensure our outpatient office maintains a welcoming atmosphere for client consultations and team meetings.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess their mental health symptoms and provide accurate diagnoses of mood disorders and other related conditions.


• Collaboratively design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with client goals, incorporating modalities such as strategic, structural, family systems, and narrative therapy.


• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, ensuring they are well-informed about available treatments and coping strategies.


• Work alongside other healthcare providers, including psychologists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care.


• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their therapeutic journey, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to provide optimal support and interventions.


• Maintain detailed and confidential client records to uphold ethical standards and comply with legal requirements.


• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in team consultations, training sessions, and community outreach programs.


• Serve as an advocate for clients’ mental health needs, promoting awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

You will work primarily with individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Your approach will be holistic, catering to the diverse emotional and psychological needs of our clients and collaborating with families for effective outcomes.

• Active and valid California LMFT license in good standing.


• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.


• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to connect with clients and foster trust within therapeutic relationships.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.


• Experience employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy is highly valued.


• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices in providing treatment remotely.
