• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and formulate individualized treatment plans that consider their unique circumstances.


• Deliver evidence-based therapy modalities tailored to each client, employing approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or others appropriate to client needs.


• Set clear therapeutic goals with clients and continuously monitor their progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.


• Provide teletherapy sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients who may face challenges in attending in-person appointments.


• Maintain meticulous documentation to comply with ethical standards and ensure continuity of care within our client management systems.


• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in mental health therapy and best practice methodologies.

Our client base primarily consists of individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. As a therapist at Gentle Motion Counseling Services, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, ranging from adolescents to adults, in a non-judgmental environment that encourages open dialogue and healing.

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).


• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.


• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.


• Demonstrable empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards client experiences.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively while ensuring client needs are met.

• Experience providing therapy in a private practice or community health setting.


• Familiarity with digital therapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.


• Background in trauma-informed care and an understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload and professional experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
