• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.


• Engage clients in therapy and counseling sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).


• Work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other social workers, to facilitate integrated care.


• Assist clients in navigating life challenges through active listening, empathy, and the application of appropriate behavioral management strategies.


• Provide families with essential resources and coping strategies to maintain long-term mental wellness.


• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation using our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.


• Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices and therapeutic methodologies.

The client population at Help Esteem Mental Health Clinic is diverse, encompassing individuals of all ages facing various mental health challenges. You will support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other complex emotional issues. Your understanding of the cultural and individual factors impacting mental health will be crucial in providing effective and empathetic care tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.


• Current active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.


• Minimum of two years of experience providing clinical services in a mental health setting.


• Proficiency in managing electronic health records and maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.


• Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Three or more years of experience working in a community health clinic or similar environment.


• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to a broad range of client populations.


• Skill in crisis intervention and familiarity with community resources available for client referrals.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
