Job Title: Risk Investigator (Food Safety Officer)

Location: Tempe, Arizona (Travel can be up to 80% - Anywhere within US)

Contract Duration: 03 Months (Extendable)

We are looking for an experienced Food Safety Operations to drive food safety compliance, quality programs, and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage food safety programs, compliance metrics, and KPIs.

Lead food safety investigations, escalations, and corrective actions.

Conduct audits and ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, and Food Code regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Analyze trends and implement process improvements using technology.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.

3+ years of food safety and quality experience in large-scale retail or manufacturing.

Experience in multi-site operations and project/program management.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal food safety regulations.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%).

Preferred: SQF/BRC certification, online retail experience, and experience implementing large-scale food safety programs.
