Construction Project Manager - Commercial Glass & Glazing

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial glass and glazing construction, overseeing projects from award through completion.


• Technical knowledge of glazing systems and experience reviewing and coordinating shop drawings, fabrication drawings, construction drawings and specifications.


• Expertise in managing project budgets and schedules, monitoring material and labor costs, and keeping projects on track.


• Experience reviewing contract scope, coordinating vendor and subcontractor buyout, and managing purchase orders and change orders.


• Ability to coordinate fabrication, material deliveries and installation activities in collaboration with field superintendents.


• Experience managing submittals, requests for information, project documentation and permitting coordination when required.


• Familiarity with payment applications, schedules of values and vendor or subcontractor payment review.


• A proactive approach to jobsite safety, quality control, inspections and closeout, including punch work, warranties and as-built documentation.


• Strong leadership and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, general contractors, vendors and internal teams.


• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a detail-oriented, proactive management style and a “Make-it-Happen” attitude.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project, along with relevant construction management software.


• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field will be considered.
