Location: Open to remote or hybrid - San Diego, CA, 92127

Pay range: $210,000 – $240,000 annually + stock options and bonus

Shifts: Business Office Hours

Duration: Contract to hire

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION YOU WILL NEED

• 10+ years of finance experience with at least 5 in FP&A within biotech or pharma


• Experience with Clinical Trials/Clinical Stage Companies required


• Proven ability with forecasting clinical-stage R&D programs, including CRO and clinical trial accruals


• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel, ERP, and planning systems like NetSuite or Adaptive


• Knowledge of US GAAP and experience preparing financials for leadership and Boards


• Preferred: MBA, CPA, CFA; oncology or early-phase clinical development background

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

• Lead corporate planning, forecasting, and long-term financial strategies


• Manage clinical trial financial models and vendor contract evaluations


• Partner with leadership on budgets, cash flow, and strategic financial decisions


• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and investors


• Support strategic projects including financings, acquisitions, and licensing
