Job Title: Modification Proj Tech Spec 3 - GFD-Field Project Management

Location: Joint Base Charleston, SC, USA (100% Onsite)

Duration: 12 Month

Duration/Shifts: Variable, based on business needs

Pay Range: $50/hr- $58/hr on w2

Position Overview

The candidate will develop the final scheduled maintenance visit plan and manage minor project plans. Key responsibilities include identifying resources, managing schedules, validating parts availability, addressing quality issues, conducting root cause analyses, and resolving or escalating operational issues.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Represent the organization as a primary coordinator for assigned contracts and projects.

Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant coordination matters across multiple USAF and FMS organizations.

Provide clear direction and review for all maintenance activities upon completion to ensure overall objectives are met.

Develop solutions to complex problems by applying established precedents and policies while influencing broader organizational goals.

Participate in defining assignment objectives, creating plans, establishing schedules, and organizing daily activities to achieve goals.

Demonstrate deep understanding and practical application of job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and industry concepts.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft sustainment, repairs, and modification.

Project Management: 3+ years of experience creating and managing project plans, schedules, and baselines.

Certifications/Physical Requirements: Ability to pass Ground Operations Personnel (GOP) and air respirator medical physicals and maintain active qualification/certification.

Work Schedule: Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as required by business needs
