Co-Founder & CEO
Founder/CTO and R&D are based in Israel. Seeking a U.S.-based commercial Co-Founder & CEO.
The Opportunity
Rephana is looking for a Co-Founder & CEO to lead the company. This is a co-founder partnership with meaningful founder equity - not a salaried executive role, and not a sales seat with a bigger title. You lead the company, and the final call on the business is yours. The founding CTO leads product and engineering.
The problem
Every clinical decision in a US hospital is shaped by logic embedded in the EHR - rules, alerts, order sets, protocols. Health systems change that layer constantly, and they govern those changes with committees, spreadsheets, and after-the-fact discovery. Everyone who lives near this problem knows it's broken. No one owns fixing it. We intend to.
Why Now
AI is collapsing the cost of changing clinical logic. When a change that once took a build team weeks can be generated in minutes, the constraint on a health system stops being "can we build it" and becomes "can we govern it." Every Epic acute-care system in the US is heading into that shift. The company that owns governance of this layer becomes essential infrastructure for all of them. That is the company we're building.
Where We Are
Rephana builds simulation and governance for the CDS layer in Epic environments: evidence of what a rule change will do before it goes live, and a defensible audit trail after.
25 structured discovery sessions with senior clinical and informatics executives at US health systems (CMIOs, CMOs, CIOs, quality leaders) shaped the product.
What exists today: a working proof of concept - the CDS simulation engine runs end-to-end on sepsis alerting logic, the first acute-care domain, using open clinical data. Next: first health-system data, first pilots. Converting that into a business is this seat.
R&D is in Israel, led by a founding CTO with 20+ years of early-stage R&D leadership. Market and commercial leadership sit in the US.
