Job Description

A large global alternative asset manager is hiring a Treasury Analyst for the lean treasury team that supports its flagship private real estate funds and separately managed accounts. The role is hands-on, with broad exposure to cash management, fund flows, banking, and fund-level financing. It's fast-paced, and there is room to take on more responsibility quickly.

Compensation: $90,000 to $105,000

Location: Manhattan, NYC (5 days/week onsite)

What You'll Do

- Support daily cash management and fund flows across a multi-fund real estate platform with a high volume of bank accounts

- Prepare and review cash flow templates and initiate wire and ACH payments through bank portals

- Administer bank accounts, including openings, closures, signatory changes, and ongoing maintenance

- Support subscription credit facilities: borrowings, repayments, loan rollovers, interest reconciliations, and ongoing facility administration

- Administer letters of credit (issuances, amendments, cancellations) and intercompany loans

- Assist with deal closing processes and coordinate with fund administrators and bank loan administrators

- Support foreign exchange hedging, including the negotiation and execution of ISDA agreements with banking counterparties

- Help manage banking relationships and support global cash management initiatives

- Support internal and external audit requests and help ensure treasury controls operate as designed

- Contribute to treasury process and system improvements, ad hoc analysis, and special projects

What We're Looking For

- 2–4+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in treasury, banking, fund finance, or financial operations

- Hands-on experience with cash management, fund flows, payment processing, or fund finance

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field

- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large volumes of financial data

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities against firm deadlines

- Proactive and accountable: you take ownership, ask questions, and want more responsibility

- Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams and external banking partners

Preferred

- Experience at a private equity firm, alternative asset manager, real estate investment firm, or bank (corporate treasury backgrounds also considered)

- Exposure to subscription credit facilities, letters of credit, or FX hedging

- Experience with a treasury management system (TMS) or fund cash management platform

- Interest in designing or improving financial processes and controls

The Environment

This is a high-visibility seat on a five-person treasury team within the real estate group of a large global alternative asset manager. The role is based in New York, NY, and is fully in-office five days a week.
