Salary: $90,000–$100,000 + 10% Bonus

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to manage strategic procurement, supplier selection, negotiations, and supplier performance for aerospace/defense and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.


• Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and terms.


• Issue purchase orders and manage procurement agreements.


• Monitor supplier quality, delivery, and performance.


• Resolve supplier issues, delivery delays, and quality discrepancies.


• Develop alternative suppliers and implement cost-saving initiatives.


• Analyze procurement data and drive continuous improvement.


• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.


• Travel to Scotland quarterly to meet with suppliers and represent the company professionally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.


• 6+ years of progressive purchasing or procurement experience.


• Strong strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.


• Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier performance.


• Experience with purchasing systems, MRP, or EDI tools.


• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to manage complex procurement projects and work cross-functionally.
