Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician / Engineer

Walton Hills, Ohio

Have hands-on electrical experience and enjoy figuring out how things work? We’d like to talk with you.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialized electrical equipment used by Data Centers, AI, industrial, manufacturing and utility customers.

This opportunity could be a good fit if you’ve worked in electrical maintenance, industrial maintenance, electrical controls or field service. You don’t need experience with every type of equipment Controllix makes. A solid electrical foundation and willingness to learn are what matter.

What you’ll do

• Visit customer locations to install, inspect, troubleshoot and service electrical equipment.

• Find and resolve problems involving wiring, electrical components and controls.

• Perform preventive maintenance and confirm equipment operates properly after repairs.

• Help customers understand equipment operation and maintenance.

• Keep clear service notes and work with the engineering team when additional support is needed.

What you’ll need

• Hands-on electrical experience is required, including troubleshooting or maintaining electrical equipment.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and use electrical test equipment and hand tools.

• Safe work habits, dependability and the ability to communicate with customers.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations and a valid driver’s license.

Helpful experience, but not required

Experience with motor controls, control panels, relays, switchgear or power systems is a plus.

If you have a strong electrical background but your job title has been Electrician, Maintenance Technician or Electrical Technician, we encourage you to apply.
