This is a rare PMHNP role for anyone who got into psychiatry to do real therapy, not 15-minute medication checks. It’s also a strong position if you still have school loans you’d like help paying off.

The role is mostly in-office psychotherapy, built on communication, talk therapy, and real relationships with patients. You’ll work at a community health center that provides behavioral health care to a diverse, underserved community where access to quality mental health care is limited, so your work fills a real gap.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday - Friday
• No nights or weekends
• Flexible scheduling

Details:

• Must be a board-certified PMHNP with an active New York license
• Mostly psychotherapy in office, focused on talk therapy and patient communication
• 2+ years of experience as a PMHNP is ideal, but not required
• Salary of $160,000 to $175,000, depending on experience
• Eligible site for federal loan repayment programs, such as NHSC
