Sales Manager / Wastewater

The Opportunity

AD Energy is partnering with a global leader in sustainable technology to recruit an experienced Sales Manager / Wastewater to support its continued growth across North America.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong technical understanding of municipal wastewater treatment to develop new business, build strategic relationships and secure major projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities across the North American municipal wastewater market.


• Sales Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through proposals, negotiations and contract award.


• Client Relationships: Build relationships with municipalities, wastewater operators, engineering consultants and key decision-makers.


• Sales Network: Manage and expand an established network of third-party sales representatives.


• Technical Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to develop competitive wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion solutions.


• Market Growth: Identify emerging opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and increase market presence.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, business development or sales engineering.


• Proven success selling capital equipment, engineered systems or technical solutions into the municipal wastewater sector.


• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment, sludge processing, biogas or anaerobic digestion technologies.


• Experience navigating municipal procurement processes and complex sales cycles.


• Experience managing sales representatives and developing long-term customer relationships.


• Strong commercial awareness, communication and negotiation skills.


• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
