A Clinician First Practice
At Arizona Speech and Swallow Therapy, we believe patient outcomes are only as strong as the clinicians delivering care. That is why we built this practice around our clinicians, not around a productivity quota. Your schedule includes real time for session prep, caregiver coordination, and treatment planning. We designed every part of this role to prevent burnout, because a clinician who has room to think does their best work.

The purpose of this position is to manage patient engagement and oversee each patient's course of care throughout their speech therapy journey. Success in this role requires fostering a warm, supportive, and motivating relationship with patients and families so that meaningful progress can be made toward communication and swallowing goals. This allows you to fully utilize your clinical expertise as a speech-language pathologist to help patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life.
The SLP is responsible for providing direct clinical care, designing and supervising individualized treatment plans, and ensuring that all patients receive services consistent with best practices and the highest ethical standards. In addition, the SLP is expected to contribute to a welcoming clinical environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues, caregivers, and referral sources.
This position requires excellent clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to balance patient-centered care with documentation, communication, and team responsibilities.
