As the Clinical Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day operational and clinical leadership, support staff development, ensure quality and safety standards, and partner with departmental leadership to drive exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the daily operations of the department under the direction of leadership.


• Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff.


• Assist with staffing schedules and daily staffing adjustments based on patient acuity and operational needs.


• Supervise departmental employees, including orientation, competency assessments, and ongoing development.


• Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviews and candidate selection.


• Monitor compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.


• Conduct patient rounds and assist with issue resolution.


• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

1 year of professional nursing experience in relevant specialty area

(special procedures, IR, medical/surgical, intensive care, emergency, perioperative, etc.).

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required


• Valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana.


• American Heart Association BLS-HCP.
