This company has been established for decades and has built a strong reputation on repeat business and delivering high-quality work across Connecticut. Due to continued workload and succession planning, they are now looking to add an experienced engineer who wants to develop into a future leader.

In this role you will manage civil projects from design through delivery, owning budget and schedule, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting technical design work using tools such as Civil 3D and hydrology software packages.

This role would suit a Senior Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Manager who wants autonomy today and a clear route into leading teams and influencing the direction of a stable, respected business.

The Role:

• Manage civil engineering projects from start to finish (budget, schedule, delivery)


• Work on municipal and transportation projects including roads, bridges, drainage, sewers and site design


• On-site role based from Wallingford, CT, covering local projects


• Design and technical oversight using Civil 3D and hydrology software tools

The Person:

• Proven civil engineering experience (senior-level preferred)


• PE License preferred (EIT working toward PE considered)


• Motivated to progress into senior leadership as part of succession planning
