Accounting Consultant – Marina / Yacht Accounting
100% Remote | Part-Time | 1-Year Engagement
I am looking for an experienced Accounting Consultant with MUST-HAVE marina and yacht industry experience for a 100% remote, one-year engagement.
Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting activities for a yacht, including dock fees, rental fees, maintenance, fuel charges, Payroll, insurance, and fees.
Work with the service company that manages the vessel
Track rental revenue, taxes, licenses, and related fees.
Manage crew expenses and operating costs.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Utilize QuickBooks Pro for accounting and financial reporting.
Work directly with the Owner and external audit firm on monthly financial statements and reporting.
Requirements:
MUST have 5+ years of accounting experience in a marina or yacht environment.
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Pro.
Experience managing full-cycle accounting, expenses, revenue, and financial reporting.
CPA or MBA is a plus.
Engagement Details:
Location: 100% Remote
Hours: 40 hours per month
Duration: 1 year
Pay Rate: $50–$65 per hour
