About the Role

The Account Manager Hospitality drives Ultrafabrics sales within the hospitality industry, including hotels, resorts, cruise lines, restaurants, and interior design firms. This role promotes durable, design-forward, performance-driven fabrics for seating, panels, and soft furnishings while building long-term client partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies that grow hospitality market share and achieve sales goals.


• Identify and secure new business with hotel brands, purchasing groups, designers, end users, and procurement firms.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architecture and design (A&D) firms, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) firms, hospitality ownership groups, and other key stakeholders.


• Train and mentor team members on product knowledge, specification selling, and sales strategy.


• Expand and support current and new hospitality sales representatives across North America, promoting sales through multiple distribution channels.


• Foster a collaborative, accountable, high-performance culture.


• Monitor team performance and adjust strategies to meet revenue goals.


• Maintain an accurate opportunity and project pipeline, including sales forecasts, in CRM tools.


• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve internal processes, support new business growth, increase productivity, and strengthen customer satisfaction.


• Collaborate with A&D managers and the broader A&D team to develop direct relationships with designers and end users.


• Create targeted account plans, assess customer needs, educate stakeholders, deliver forecasts, identify emerging opportunities and challenges, and recommend solutions.


• Drive repeat business through standards programs and projects with end users, including hotel chains.


• Deliver continuing education unit (CEU) programs and other value-added presentations to customers.


• Apply a strong understanding of the distribution model to help win projects across channels.


• Collaborate with Marketing, Branding, Product Development, and Merchandising to create market-specific content, sales presentations, and growth strategies.


• Keep Product Development informed of changing trends and market needs, including demand for products such as prints and silicones.


• Gather, analyze, and report on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to inform new products and marketing opportunities.


• Participate in relevant trade shows, including NeoCon, Hospitality Design, BDNY, and regional NEWH events, as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience across vertical markets such as contract, healthcare, education, and hospitality is preferred.


• Strong capabilities in sales strategy, business development, relationship management, negotiation, closing, and presentations.


• Knowledge of upholstery fabrics, contract textiles, and hospitality standards.


• Proven track record of sales growth.


• Experience working with hospitality brands, A&D firms, or contract furniture manufacturers.


• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.


• Willingness to travel frequently.
