This is a Group Manager role in Charlotte, one of the busiest development markets on the East Coast. You'll run a sizeable team of engineers, designers and project managers, stay close to delivery on residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, and play a big part in winning new work across the region.

You'll be trusted to set the direction for your group rather than just manage a workload, with the backing of senior leaders who want land development in the Carolinas to grow. And with a multidisciplinary platform behind you, you can go after bigger and more complex projects than a standalone land dev firm could.

What you'll do

Lead and grow the Charlotte land development group, including:

• Managing and developing a team of engineers, designers and project managers.


• Overseeing delivery of residential, commercial and mixed-use land development projects.


• Owning client relationships with developers, builders and municipalities.


• Driving business development and building the group's presence in the Charlotte market.


• Managing group performance, including budgets, utilization and resourcing.


• Working with other disciplines across the firm to win and deliver larger pursuits.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of land development experience, with several years leading teams.


• A track record of winning work and growing a book of business.


• Strong relationships in the Charlotte development market.


• A North Carolina PE license, or the ability to get one quickly.
