Cathode R&D Engineer

Ampace (新能安) is a global battery-technology company specializing in lithium-ion cells and systems for energy storage, data centers, and critical power. Our R&D pairs advanced cell chemistry with semi-solid-state technology to deliver safe, high-performance batteries at scale. This position is based at our R&D center in Xiamen, China.

Responsibilities:

1. Design the structural and interface stability of single-crystal and polycrystalline ternary (NMC) cathodes.

2. Develop particle-cracking suppression for polycrystalline ternary cathodes during cycling.

3. Improve the thermal stability of ultra-high-nickel ternary cathodes.

Requirements:

1. PhD with a background in electrochemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering.

2. Research experience with battery cathode materials.

3. Strong logical thinking and communication skills.

岗位职责

1. 负责单晶及多晶三元（NMC）正极材料的结构设计及界面稳定性研究。


2. 开展多晶三元正极材料循环过程中的颗粒开裂抑制技术研究，提升材料循环稳定性。


3. 提升超高镍三元正极材料的热稳定性，推动高性能正极材料开发。

任职要求

1. 电化学、材料科学、化学工程等相关专业博士学历。


2. 具有锂电池正极材料相关研究经验。


3. 具备良好的逻辑思维能力、分析能力及沟通协作能力。
