Investment Operations Associate

Our client, a $2B AUM multi-strategy hedge fund based in mid-town NYC, is currently looking to hire an Operations Associate to join its growing New York team. This is a high-visibility opportunity offering direct exposure to traders and the investment team, with significant room for growth in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.

Location: New York City (5 days in-office)

Compensation: $110,000-$160,000 base + 20-25% discretionary bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full trade lifecycle, from execution through settlement and reconciliations


• Support daily trading operations and partner closely with front office teams


• Monitor positions, cash activity, financing, collateral, and corporate actions


• Coordinate with prime brokers, fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers


• Assist with operational controls, risk management, and fund accounting processes


• Identify operational inefficiencies and drive process improvements, automation, and controls


• Support treasury, liquidity, and cash management activities


• Contribute to special projects and take ownership of critical operational initiatives

Ideal Background:

• 4+ years of hedge fund operations experience


• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and middle/back-office functions


• Experience supporting trading operations within a hedge fund or asset management environment


• Tech-savvy with an interest in automation, AI, and process improvement
