Account Manager

Our client is a leading insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Account Manager (remote) to support the successful implementation and delivery of employee benefits enrollment programs.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in worksite/voluntary benefits who enjoys managing projects, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring clients have a seamless enrollment experience. The ideal background would be in enrollment management, benefits implementation, or project management, though candidates with insurance account management experience are also encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Manage benefits enrollment and implementation projects from kickoff through completion, including timelines, checklists, milestones, and deliverables.


• Coordinate internal teams, clients, carriers, payroll partners, and benefit counselors to keep projects on track and ensure deadlines are met.


• Lead client and internal meetings, document discussions and action items, and communicate project status and next steps.


• Gather and maintain enrollment plans, carrier requirements, census data, training materials, and other critical project documentation.


• Coordinate enrollment platform setup and testing, including reviewing carrier specifications, census data, and system configurations.


• Develop enrollment manuals and training materials and support training for Benefit Counselors.


• Track enrollment results and project metrics and prepare reporting for clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.


• Review and audit enrollments and assist with validating payroll deductions.


• Support carrier transitions, product mapping, RFP activity, new-hire enrollment projects, and customer service resolution as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of insurance experience, preferably in worksite/voluntary benefits, benefits enrollment, or enrollment management.


• Experience as an Enrollment Manager, Implementation Manager, or Project Manager within the employee benefits space is highly preferred.


• Insurance Account Management experience will also be considered.


• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


• Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret demographic and enrollment data.


• Experience working with benefits enrollment platforms such as Selerix, bswift, Employee Navigator, UKG/UltiPro, ADP, or similar systems.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex benefits information in a clear, client-friendly way.


• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing projects.


• Bachelor's degree preferred.


• Active insurance license preferred; candidates with expired licenses but strong relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
