Job Description

We are partnering with a leading mechanical contractor to identify a Quality Control Superintendent to support large-scale data center construction projects across the U.S. This is a full-time traveling role with the opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical facilities alongside top-tier project teams.

Position Overview:

The Quality Control Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and executing all quality control processes on-site, ensuring that mechanical installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. This individual will play a key role in maintaining quality throughout all phases of construction, from installation through commissioning and turnover.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage on-site quality control programs for mechanical scopes of work
  • Ensure all installations comply with contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes
  • Conduct inspections, track deficiencies, and drive resolution through closeout
  • Coordinate with project management, field teams, and subcontractors to maintain quality standards
  • Maintain and manage QA/QC documentation, reports, and turnover packages
  • Support pre-functional and functional testing, working closely with commissioning teams
  • Identify potential quality risks and proactively implement corrective actions
  • Participate in client meetings, inspections, and audits as needed


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in quality control or field supervision within mechanical construction
  • Experience working on data centers or other mission-critical projects strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems installation
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes and turnover documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and submittals
  • Willingness and ability to travel full-time to project sites nationwide
