Labor & Employment Associate

Lateral Link is assisting a highly regarded law firm seeking a senior-level Labor & Employment Associate to join its growing Chicago practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong management-side L&E attorney looking for sophisticated work, meaningful client contact, and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility within a growing platform.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5–7 years of management-side labor & employment experience


• Significant employment litigation experience in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies


• Strong experience counseling employers on a broad range of employment matters


• Familiarity with Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, OSHA, WARN, and applicable state laws


• Traditional management-side labor law experience is a plus


• Excellent academic and professional credentials


• Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-management skills
