Client Services Associate – Independent Wealth Management Firm


Location: Glendale, CO (Denver area)


Work Environment: On-site, Full-time




Role Summary


We’re hiring a Client Services Associate on behalf of our client—a growing independent, fee-only registered investment advisory firm based in the Glendale, CO area. The firm serves individuals, families, business owners, trusts, charitable foundations, and retirement plans, with a mission to help clients make sound financial decisions so they can reach their goals and live life to the fullest.


The Client Services Associate will play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless, white-glove client experience. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role owns the day-to-day operational and administrative functions that keep client service running smoothly, freeing the advisors to focus on financial planning and relationship management. The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized problem-solver who genuinely enjoys going above and beyond for clients.




Core Responsibilities



  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely follow-up

  • Process client service requests, including money movement, account transfers, and beneficiary changes

  • Facilitate the end-to-end new account opening and onboarding process, from collecting client information and documentation to coordinating with custodians

  • Ensure all account paperwork and onboarding steps meet firm and regulatory compliance procedures

  • Manage advisor calendars and coordinate logistics for client meetings

  • Prepare materials and reports ahead of client meetings

  • Support front-office operations, including answering phones, client mailings, filing, and greeting guests

  • Maintain accurate, detailed client information and interactions in the firm’s CRM and related databases

  • Partner with the operations, investments, and compliance teams to meet client needs efficiently

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes and the client experience

  • Adhere to all industry rules, regulations, and firm policies, including logging client correspondence and maintaining accurate records




Candidate Profile


Must-Haves



  • Bachelor’s degree, or 2–5 years of equivalent experience in the financial services industry, ideally in client services or operations

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software and custodian platforms

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactive problem-solver with a client-first mindset

  • Comfortable working both independently and as a collaborative team player

  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential client information


Nice-to-Haves



  • 1+ year of accounting experience, or 2+ years in a client-facing or administrative support role within financial services or wealth management

  • Experience with Addepar portfolio management software

  • Experience with the Charles Schwab Advisor Services platform

  • Experience with Wealthbox CRM




Compensation and Benefits



  • Base salary of $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience
