Position Summary

The Carton Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating carton production activities to ensure customer requirements are met while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. This role works closely with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, and Shipping teams to maintain production schedules, monitor inventory levels, and support on-time delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity.


• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure materials and resources are available for scheduled production.


• Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages or delays.


• Track order progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer expectations.


• Analyze planning and production data to identify opportunities for improvement.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, inventory management, and operational efficiency.


• Maintain accurate information within ERP and planning systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.


• Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing environments preferred.


• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
