• Perform additional accounting and tax-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software platforms

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for direct client interaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-state tax filings

• Familiarity with tax research tools and e-filing systems

• Prior experience in a CPA firm setting

• Experience with payroll and bookkeeping for small to medium-sized businesses

Work-Life Balance

We work hard during tax season, January 1 through April 15, and then slow things down. From April 16 through December 31, our team works a Monday–Thursday, 4-day work week — enjoying Fridays off.

What We Offer

• Competitive compensation – $65,000-$100,000 (depending on experience)

• Bonus structure & incentive programs

• Monday–Thursday work week (Fridays off) outside of tax season

• A small, close-knit team environment

• Retirement plan with company match

• Medical, dental & vision insurance

• CPE support / professional development

• Flexible PTO

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on tax professional with 5+ years of experience who is comfortable preparing individual and business tax returns, handling client engagements, and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. CPAs or EAs with public accounting experience are a strong fit.
