Operations Manager - Construction Supplies

What You’ll Do

• Manage daily operations across warehouse, shipping/receiving, delivery, and counter sales


• Lead, schedule, and develop a team of approximately 20 employees


• Own inventory accuracy, fleet/delivery efficiency, and counter service levels


• Build and refine operational processes to improve throughput and reduce waste


• Use sales data and analytics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities at the branch level


• Partner with the sales team on pricing, stock strategy, and customer service standards


• Maintain and grow relationships with contractor accounts, including on-site visits when needed


• Enforce safety standards and DOT compliance for delivery operations


• Report on branch performance and recommend improvements to leadership

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in concrete, construction materials, or building supply operations strongly preferred


• Prior experience managing a team of 15+ across multiple functions (warehouse, delivery, counter)


• Comfortable working with sales analytics and reporting to drive decisions


• Track record of building or improving operational processes


• Existing relationships with contractors in the concrete/construction space a plus


• Strong communicator who can lead from the floor, not just from an office


• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a background check and drug screen
