Position: Inventory Business Analyst

Number of Roles: 1

I. JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Business Analyst will support Supply Chain and Inventory Management initiatives through data analysis, business process analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement. This position will work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, IT, and other business stakeholders to analyze data, identify trends and process gaps, and develop actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and inventory management.

The position will support the Material Readiness initiative and related Supply Chain and Inventory Management activities across multiple storerooms, jurisdictions, and business areas. The analyst will work across data sources and business processes to improve visibility, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support the evolution of inventory management practices.

A significant component of this role will involve working with existing processes and systems that may include manual data entry, work order updates, purchase order information, project numbers, inventory data, and other operational information. The analyst will be expected to understand these processes, identify opportunities to improve them, and help develop more efficient and sustainable approaches.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data and learning new systems and business processes. While prior Supply Chain or Inventory experience is beneficial, deep Supply Chain specialization is not required. The ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, investigate problems, and translate data into meaningful business recommendations will be critical to success.

This position will also support reporting and analytics capabilities, including the potential development and enhancement of Power BI reporting and other data-driven tools. The analyst will partner with IT and business stakeholders to understand data sources, validate information, and improve the way data is used to support decision-making.
