Business Analyst

The ideal candidate will have experience working alongside software development teams to deliver web applications, portals, and other business-facing software solutions. This person will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, define requirements, support development, and help drive solutions through testing and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business users to understand current processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.


• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for new applications and enhancements to existing systems.


• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, end users, and software development teams.


• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including requirements refinement, sprint planning, and ongoing collaboration with development teams.


• Define project scope, workflows, requirements, and expected outcomes.


• Support the development of web applications, portals, and internal business systems from requirements through implementation.


• Perform and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) prior to production releases.


• Document business processes and workflows while identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.


• Support application rollouts, including user documentation, training, and post-implementation support.


• Analyze operational metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for system enhancements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional Business Analyst experience supporting software or application development projects.


• Hands-on experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.


• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.


• Demonstrated experience supporting the development or enhancement of applications, web applications, portals, or similar software solutions.


• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, development, testing, and implementation.


• Experience with UAT and working directly with end users.


• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.


• Experience with financial or transaction-heavy applications is a plus.
