Property & Facilities Manager

As our North American business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced property professional to help manage and develop our property portfolio while building a long-term career within Mainfreight.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with property management experience who wants more than a traditional property role. You'll work closely with operational leaders, Branch Managers, contractors, landlords, and development partners, helping to support and shape the facilities that enable our business to perform every day.

While you'll bring property expertise from day one, we also believe in learning our business from the ground up. You'll spend time developing an understanding of our operations, our people, and our culture, ensuring your property decisions are informed by the realities of the environments our teams work in every day.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Property Team, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the ongoing management of our North American property portfolio


• Coordinating maintenance, repairs, and facility improvement projects


• Managing landlord, contractor, architect, consultant, and vendor relationships


• Assisting with lease administration, renewals, and property documentation


• Supporting branch relocations, expansions, and facility upgrades


• Participating in property development and capital projects


• Working with operational leaders to identify opportunities for facility improvements


• Contributing to sustainability, compliance, and long-term property planning initiatives


• Supporting the evaluation and execution of future site development opportunities

About You

You are someone who:

• Has 3+ years of experience in Property Management, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related field


• Understands lease administration, maintenance coordination, and stakeholder management


• Has experience working with contractors, landlords, suppliers, and external partners


• Communicates effectively with people at all levels of an organization


• Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of work


• Takes ownership, follows through, and enjoys solving problems


• Values relationships as much as results


• Is interested in building a long-term career rather than simply making a job change
