Business Analyst

The Judge Group is seeking an HR Systems, Process Improvement & AI Solutions Specialist for a hybrid opportunity located in either Downtown Chicago or Northbrook, IL.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining business process expertise, enterprise systems, analytics, automation, and emerging AI technologies to improve operational effectiveness across the HR function. The successful candidate will partner with HR, IT, Finance Systems, and other business stakeholders to optimize processes, enhance system capabilities, develop reporting solutions, and identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI and intelligent automation technologies.

COMPENSATION: 90k to 130

WORKSITE: Hybrid (3 days per week in office

MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience


• Experience supporting enterprise applications, HRIS/HCM platforms, ATS systems, workflow automation tools, or business process technologies


• Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting, dashboard, and data visualization tools


• Experience driving process improvement, automation initiatives, or digital transformation projects


• Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders while translating business requirements into technology-driven solutions

HIGHLY DESIRE

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI solutions, AI-powered workflow automation, Large Language Models (LLMs), intelligent document processing, or digital assistant technologies


• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI Builde


• Experience supporting enterprise data integrations, API-based solutions, system implementations, or digital transformation initiatives


• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve employee experience, reporting efficiency, process automation, knowledge management, or operational effectiveness

POSITION OVERVIEW

The HR Systems, Process Improvement & AI Solutions Specialist will support the evolution of HR technology, automation, analytics, and business processes across the organization. This individual will serve as a key resource for identifying opportunities to leverage technology, workflow optimization, and emerging AI capabilities to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, improve user experience, and strengthen data-driven decision-making

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and continuously improve HR technology platforms including HRIS/HCM, applicant tracking, learning management, performance management, service delivery, and employee experience solutions


• Identify, design, and implement process improvement initiatives utilizing workflow automation, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled solutions


• Partner with HR, IT, Finance Systems, and business stakeholders to evaluate business requirements and recommend scalable technology solutions


• Support exploration and implementation of Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered assistants, and automation technologies to improve productivity and operational efficiency


• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation, digital workflows, and AI-driven solutions


• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, analytics, and business intelligence solutions that support organizational decision making


• Assist with system configuration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshooting, data validation, and deployment of new system capabilities


• Perform data audits, quality reviews, governance activities, and reporting validation to ensure data integrity and reliability


• Document business processes, technical workflows, standard operating procedures, and system capabilities


• Collaborate on change management initiatives, user adoption strategies, and training programs related to new technologies, automation tools, and AI-enabled solutions


• Support enterprise initiatives related to digital transformation, operational excellence, process optimization, and innovation


• Monitor emerging HR technology, AI, automation, and analytics trends and recommend opportunities for business application

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience


• Experience supporting enterprise software platforms, business systems, HR technology, workflow automation, analytics, or process improvement initiatives


• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and leverage emerging technologies


• Experience working with structured and unstructured data, reporting tools, dashboards, and business intelligence platforms


• Knowledge of process mapping, process redesign, workflow optimization, or continuous improvement methodologies


• Experience with Power BI, SQL, SharePoint, Power Platform, API integrations, automation tools, or similar technologies preferred


• Exposure to Generative AI technologies including Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, AI-assisted workflow automation, or enterprise AI platforms is strongly preferred


• Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills


• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
