Job Description

Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis Consultant - Healthcare

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii (Onsite initially; hybrid arrangement may be considered eventually)

Employment Type: Full-Time / FTE


Position Overview

We are seeking a Consultant to support our client's financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis within a healthcare organization. This role will work closely with business and finance stakeholders to develop financial models, analyze revenue and cost of care, and support P&L forecasting and aggregation. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and comfortable working with complex financial and operational data.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain top-line P&L forecasts and financial projections.
  • Analyze healthcare revenue and cost-of-care drivers.
  • Build and maintain financial/data models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Develop and support P&L aggregation models across business areas.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and key business drivers.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into financial models and analyses.
  • Prepare financial insights, reporting, and presentations for management.
  • Ensure financial models and analyses are accurate, well-organized, and clearly documented.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic planning initiatives.


Required Skills & Experience

Top skills we're looking for:


1.Top-line P&L forecasting experience

  • Demonstrated experience developing revenue and profitability forecasts.
  • Strong understanding of P&L structures and financial drivers.


2.Revenue & Cost-of-Care Analysis:

  • Experience analyzing revenue, healthcare costs, and/or cost-of-care drivers.
  • Ability to connect operational activity with financial outcomes.


3.Financial & Data Modeling

  • Strong experience building financial/data models.
  • Ability to aggregate and reconcile financial information across multiple sources.
  • Strong Excel/modeling capabilities.


Additional Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with limited direction.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with finance, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Healthcare/health insurance experience is highly desirable.
